Stock marking on IBM M1 carbine

Ordnance Department acceptance stamp. There was a slight difference to each stamp by manufacturer and not all Carbines had it or the inspector's initials stamp. There are more variations of Carbine stamps than you can shake a stick at. Plus there are new made copies of the stamp itself.
