Stock Modification question

Has anyone modified a composite stock?
I did a search and didn't find much.
I have a composite tactical stock that had a wide fore end. I slimmed down the fore end and
went into the foam core. The foam seems very hard, but I assume I will need to re-glass
the fore arm to protect the foam and for a better finish?
Any info would be appreciated, flaming - not so much!

i've never modified a stock, but the first thing you would need to do is find out the type of material used. I've seen "composite" used to mean fiberglass, kevlar, or carbon fiber. once that is established it should be fairly simple to get proper material and resin to repair.
