Took my daughter out yesterday to shoot.

This was her target at 25 yards from the bench with a front and back rest.

As you can see in these next two photos, she is a arm/hand amputee. Her arms are only slightly longer than the elbow on regular folks and her left hand is rally only two fused together short fingers and her right is two short finger that are separated.

I am looking for suggestion on how to modify a stock for her so that it would be anchored on her shoulder and maybe even a sort of sling around her neck to take the weight.

Pictures would be awesome.

From the pics, it appears that the buttstock needs to be shortened.

You would have to take your Daughter to the gunsmith for measurements.

Good luck. Also she appears to be a good shot. Congrats to Her and you.

I might have this all wrong for her, but I recently acquired a "free-rifle" - never owned a rifle with the extended arm from the butt plate that goes under the armpit. My impression with it (I am a right handed shooter) is that with that butt hook under my right armpit, and my left hand supporting the forearm (it also has an extended "palm" support), that my right hand really has nothing to do except manage the trigger - very different than the other rifles that I have, where the right hand seems to be needed to help to hold and to aim, as well as eventually touch off the trigger...

So, might want to consider a non-standard shaped butt plate - sort of like a "C", maybe - something that goes under armpit, possibly over the shoulder to set that rear end against her shoulder - impression, to me, is that it sort of "frees up" my hand from holding and aiming duties??

Just a comment, one dad to another.

The smile and concentration on her face in the second picture absolutely made my day!!

I hope you guys find a good set up for her so she continues to have fun.

Maybe a different scope ? for eye relief ..red dot ?
cut stock shorter..... you could cut stock 1/2 inch at a time

????? is she left eye dominant ???? ..... shoot left handed ?????

I think we have a future Olympic shooter here.

I am sure there is a member of the community here that Will help out.

Perhaps a 3d printed grip?

Well its obvious she is a good shot! It would appear to me that the rifle stock needs to be shortened. Im no specialist, but would prosthetics be an option? Or a brace of some kind? Clearly her situation is not stopping her from enjoying shooting. Smiles like that make it all worth it. Glad to see kids like your daughter out enjoying the sport.
