Does anyone know of someone who can do some work to a savage stock?
I would like to have the stock cut to add an adjustable comb as well as adding some adjustments in the butt of the rifle such as length etc. I have the hardware on its way to do the comb but haven't got the butt pad yet.

A good low cost option for the butt pad is a Morgan adjustable recoil pad, it will increase your length of pull and is adjustable up and down. There is a guy on ebay who ships them up here for only a couple bucks shipping cost.If you need shorter LOP cut the butt shorter before installing the pad.

I also just bought a Graco adjustable butt plate from brownells for about $65, but it takes forever to grind the aluminum down to size.
