Stock options for Stevens 200 centerfeed mag

I am going to build off another Stevens 200, I have confirmed the 4.4" action screw CTC distance so it is the new mag. My last Stevens I did I just built up the original stock but I am not looking to do that again. I would like to have a McMillan stock but I believe they are not an option.

Is there a synthetic option out there for me yet, or anyother for that matter?

Also would like to keep it around 500 and under range

Read the entire thread or Google "Choate tactical Savage".
Their newish tactical looks like a decent alternative. Supposed to be a distributer in Canada soon.

I took a look, not to bad. Maybe it was just that crappy pics they have on there website but the finish looks a little rough.

Yes the SSS stocks fit the centre feed mag. Some guys on here have been waiting quite a while for their stocks however. I like SSS but mine is going to be double their initial estimate. Next time I order I won't use my ###y voice when enquiring from the lady there how long it will take. Unfortunately I forgot, it always makes the girls tell me what I want to hear.

My buddies SSS is said to be in the mail.. He ordered in Oct I believe.. We should see it this week.. I will post my opinion when I get a look at it..

Well maybe if you got your butt out of bed and went to check the post office instead of sleeping all day you would have it.. I mean it is only the third 12 hour night shift you wuss..LOL
