Stock Problem...

I bought an ATI 3000 Dragunov style stock for my SKS. It sits so low in the stock that I can't even see the sights. The trigger and magazine don't seem to hang out the bottom any more than normal, so it can't really be shimmed up.
I bought the stock to replace the synthetic stock it came with.after shooting a friends with a dragunov stock and found it very comfortable.

The whole reason want to change the stock out is that it in order to see the sights I have to really squeeze down on the stock, and my cheek gets the crap pounded out of it!

Anyone else had problems like that?

Should I replace the ATI with a Choate?

The Choate stocks are much better than the ATI ones. The ATI are crap. You get what you pay for. The choate stocks have a spring in the stock, to push the trigger group to the bottom, just like with the original wood stock.

My sks is very tight in the choate monte carlo stock. I never had any sights problem with this stock. I'm sure it will be the same with the choate dragunov stock.
