My first project - Im looking to upgrade the stock on my Savage Model 10FPLE1A - 308 heavy Barrel. My main purpose for this rifle will be long range shooting.. but it could get dragged to the bush during moose season. I would prefer something that doesn't use the internal magazine. This is my first time at upgrading a stock and while I dont have a ton of $$ to spend I dont think Im going to get very consistent results with the current stock.
