stock upgrade for a savage 10tr

Hello folks, I'm looking to upgrade the stock on my 10tr. I've heard it's kinda difficult to find one because of the bold release just in front of the trigger guard. Thx

I went with the Boyd's Pro Varmint model. I'm in the middle of bedding it now. Not sure if I made a mistake in not specifying one for fitting to the heavy barrel of the 10TR, but it didn't take much to free float it anyhow. I wouldn't bother with buying one unless you are going to bed it. Very nice stock for the money. The other tactical stocks look really cool, but are way too expensive for me, and I doubt they will bring more accuracy anyhow.

MDT TAC 21 is the one I am using and I love it. I thought about the LSS instead of the Tac 21, but ponied up the extra and Im very glad I did.

I put mine in a HS stock. It was a pretty straight forward swap......

No bedding required, and the safety is still usable (albeit not as easily). There is a little window behind the bolt that you can see in the pictures, this allows you access to the safety.

Does the stock help with bolt stability wen the bolt is extended?
