stockeys

No they do not ship to Canada, as they will not buy the export permits required.

International Shipments:
U.S. federal law prohibits it. We have spoken with the U. S. State Department and there is NO amount that can be legally exported without a permit. The law states that, in order to export gun parts, you need a permit and we need a permit. A U.S. Export Permit costs $2500 annually. It takes several months to get one. In other words, no export.

Yikes! No thanks, There's no one that's stocks them regularly?

It depends on what style, action, fill and colour you want. There are so many possibilities that ordering one is pretty much the only way to get what you really want.

I ordered one 10 weeks ago. Is it really 7 months wait now?

Oops, my mistake....my friend ordered one in mid-December and now we are in mid-July, so that makes 8 months. And it's still not here. And there is no estimated delivery time.

If you don't want to wait then perhaps consider the new Manners Elite Hunter series.

There is a big backlog at mcmillan due to large orders at xmas. They are running full out, but are in high demand. Not all is bleak down south...;)

I have a theory that the popular models/molds are obviously backlogged but non popular molds are not so long a wait time. I had a ruger classic done in 14 weeks ordered at Christmas and the one I ordered 10 weeks ago is a mk v stock. See how long it takes. If they have 50 Remington molds and 5000 orders it will take you longer to get your Remington stock than if they have 10 mk v molds and 100 weatherby orders. Just a theory.

If your a bit handy and they make a stock for your rifle Wildcat Composites make a nice lightweight stock and their delivery times are pretty good from my experience.
