Can anyone tell me if the stocks between the Marlin 925 and XT-22 are compatible, is it a perfect drop-in fit? I want to pick up a Marlin XT-22 youth model and change out the youth stock to a full adult size. Why? I like the shorter 16" barrel, comes with Williams fiber optic sights, and there is less force required to operate the bolt. If I could only find an old full size 925 synthetic stock for it, I'm sure it would be the best of both worlds. What do you guys think? I'm really disliking the new XT-22 stocks with the useless "textured" grip (not checkered like 925) and molded-in swivel holes.
