Been looking at upgrading the stock on this thing for something more ergonomic and fit.

Any companies that offers them?

"something more ergonomic and fit" is quite subjective, maybe if you share your budget and a bit more information we can fine tune the responses....

Do you want a stock with adjustable length of pull, cheek weld in a chassis for over $1000.00 or do you prefer traditonal wood stocks more along the lines of what Buck suggests with Boyd's? Boyd's makes some nice stocks and so does MDT.

The Ruger American Rimfire is a pretty popular rifle so you should be able to find something to your liking..... even some of the Ruger American Rimfire Target series rifles come with better stocks that should allow most users to get a good ergonomic fit but getting one from Ruger might be a challenge in Canada. You could try reaching out to the Ruger distributors in Canada if one of the Ruger stocks is to your liking.

Id love to get the MDT field stock for it but theyre limited in options for the American rimfire. Also dropping a close to $1000 chassis isnt an option for me

I was interested in the MDT LSS, as there is even a video of the installation of a Ruger American Rimfire on an MDT LSS on YouTube
The MDT website doesn't appear to allow you to select a Ruger American Rimfire option for the LSS, however. I might give them a call tomorrow to find out if they still produce it.

As suggested take a look at Boyd's options they make several nice stocks.
Ruger has made some target models with different stock in the past.... might be worth inquiring if the design interests you?

MDT's only option for the Ruger American Rimfire these days is the ACC Premier Gen 2 as they no longer produce the MDT LSS that fits the rifle. The price for the ACC Premier Gen 2 is $1250. There is no option for the Ruger American Rimfire in the MDT LSS Gen 3.
