Stocks with beautiful wood.

Maybe not as nice as some here but I had to have this 455 varmint because I liked the the wood so much.

Thanks Glenn,
It's been at my gunsmith's for several month. He has refinished the stock and he bedded and pillar bedded the action. I have not shot it yet. will most certainly do next week-end. I will keep you informed of my initial thoughts ( accuracy wise )

Thanks gamekeeper and zedbra. It took about two years to complete that build. It's my first real custom build having to deal with suppliers and highly skilled tradespeople. I can't say enough good about klaus and bruce. Both were excellent to deal with.

I learned a lot in the process and made a few mistakes along the way. They didn't really cost me money but did increase the schedule or reduce the quality in some way. If I ever do another build like this one I'll know better and do a few things differently.

It's certainly an experience I would tell anyone who loves guns to do once in thier life. It's worth going through the process and the end result is one of a kind and it's yours!

Yes Osborne that is a really fine looking rifle. The ebony on the snauble for end ,bottom of pistol grip and butt are plain awesome. The wood is beautiful as well.
