Stocks?

Is there a name or word that defines or describes correctly a traditional wooden rifle stock? I dont nessesarily mean to refrence wooden stocks so much as the shape of that style. It could very well by synthetic. I mean stocks that are modified have names that describes them, for instance monte carlo, thumbhole, folding, collapsable etc. Is it simply described as a standard stock?....

I"ve heard it refered to as a "Classic" stock.
