I've got one.
It failed to feed light loads on occasion until it had about 200 through it. After that it functioned flawlessly.
The fit and finish is very nice and it is an attractive looking gun. It happens to fit me very well and I can hit with it a lot. To me it is very well balanced.
No problems with quality at all and it came with a good selection of chokes. The wood is nice enough though not super fancy.
Very fun to shoot, cycles very quickly. My buddy has a new Benelli and it is very nice as well. We both have fun when we go shooting clays.
To me, his Benelli is not $1500 nicer than my Stoeger, and I hit more often than he does.
I had a new Beretta A303 a few years ago. I like this much better.
It's funny, I only bought it because it was going for too low a price at a D.U. auction. I didn't really want it at the time and figured it was likely kind of cheap. It has won me over though and is now one of my favorite shotguns.
I've got between 1500 and 2000 rounds through it now with no problems at all. These were mostly target loads.
I think its a very good value.
