I'm thinking about getting a short barreled 12 ga SxS as a fun gun.

What do you guys think between the Stoeger hammerless coach gun and the external hammer Norinco?

Quality, operation, durability, finish.

I'm just going to use it for fun, maybe grouse now and then and possibly as a third or 4th string camp gun.

The STOEGER is more expensive but is fast in COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING because you don't have to #### the hammers. I believe it is a better made gun. But I do like the hammers on a cowboy era gun , I use a BIAKAL HAMMER 12 GAUGE in our local CAS MATCHES, IT IS VERY STIFF BUT " BUILT LIKE TRACTOR"

If I had to choose, I would go with the Stoeger. I have heard some good things about this coach gun. I have had 0 feed back on the Norinco, except that one of the Marstar guys told me that it was one of Norinco's more reliable shotguns.

a buddy has the stoeger coach gun ,nickel finish.i've shot it and would recommend.its one solid shotgun, the only thing i didn't like is that it doesn't have ejectors.pulling both triggers at once is very satisfying, althogh getting both barrels to go exactly at the same time was tough.
