Looks like my 92FS. Does it shoot the same?

From what I read.. it should shoot softer, 92 has a linear barrel and this has a rotating barrel, so both are soft.. but since it has a compensator on the cougar.. should be a pussy cat (pun intended)
Uses the same mags also

I can’t believe I bought one. Never even take my restricteds out of the house. Another one for the Turd to worry about. Do I need a paper ATT printed with me or it is attached to my license. All so do I need a short term ATT for transport or is this covered under the stores license and my existing ATT.

Feel like I don’t know the rules anymore!

hey A, lol.... yup, the att is attached to your lic.

Got my Stoeger and for some reason the mags only hold 9 rounds. The are 15 round mags but obviously modified for Canadian law they should be 10. Anyone else have this issue and can it be easily fixed? Have not shot it yet but seems like a decent gun for the price.

how are the mags modified? rivet or crimped? The 10th round just may be very tight, do you have a magula/mag loader you can try to insert the 10th round with?

There is a paper in the box that explains the magazines are 9rds because they had to for the CFO to approve the importation of this special run of Stoeger Cougars. Beretta 92 magazine can be made to work with a simple modification. The cutouts for the magazine release are in a slightly different spot than the Cougar mags.

Stoeger Cougar with Beretta 92 magazine inserted. Fits like its made for it. Even locks the slide back. It just doesn't lock in until the magazine is modified

ISG, what was the reason the CFO gave for this 9rds limit?

are you bringing any more in and at the attractive price?

Apparently. a company called Triple K makes aftermarket mags.

We received confirmation from someone who purchased one that the Beretta 92 magazine works once modified. Not gonna lie, that's a pretty funny name for a company. KKK what? Looks like they do a lot of hard to find magazines though.
