Since Santa didn't send me what I want I have to shop on my own now :p

Anybody knows where to pick up a M3500 for a decent price?

I was away for a week and might have missed some boxing day sale on certain stores so any info will be very much appreciated!

Le Barron has the Advantage Max-4 camo one on sale now for $677.00. Mine came out to $805.00 with taxes and shipping to the Kingston area.

Awesome gun!!! Install the recoil reducer with medium loctite.

I've looked all over the Le Barron site and can't find the M3500. I also didn't find any information on placing a web order or how I would submit a copy of my PAL. $805 with taxes and shipping is a great price as here in Winnipeg Cabela's is selling the M3500 synthetic for $679+tax.

Maybe about 10 boxes since new. Not a hickup! Love this gun! Has digested everything I put in it. With the recoil reducer installed, 3.5" shells feel like 3" ones. The inertia system makes it about as easy to clean as a bolt gun. In fact, probably a bit easier as the bolt comes right apart without tools in about 1 second. I bet you could go years without cleaning this gun as there are barely any moving parts. All the crud goes right out the barrel.

Try one out!!!

Thanks Ian for your detailed post!

Actually I bought one the few days ago for a great price and really like this gun.

I have not fire it yet but after careful inspection the fit and finish is very good for the money and its much better than the M2000, I think its on par with many domestic brand like Remmy or Mossy.

The one I bought is black although I really like the camo but its the last one and I just can't resist the money and I grab it knowing its going to be a work gun ( still have a MP153 for the same purpose ) and love it also.

One more question: do you guys run it light oiled ot wet?

I was browsing the Benelli forum and SG world seems like lots of people run these M3500 wet and heavily oiled without trouble.

I have own many gas guns and every single one has each of their own and need proper amount of lube to run flawlessly but seems like it little different with the Stoeger any input on this?

Many thanks!

I use lubriplate grease (from all of my milsurps) on all the friction bearing surfaces on the bolt and bolt groves in the receiver and on the barrel extension that the bolt rides in and a little on the spring inside the bolt. I also lightly grease the outside of the magazine tube so the operating slide and spring are lubed. That is how I greased my M2000 for the 3 years that I owned it and never had a problem or wear on any of the surfaces.
