Stoeger m3k?

play.soccer... Looks great (both pup and gun)!

How did you end up plugging the magazine?

I used a 3/8" dia. aluminum rod and riveted it to the end cap

Been dummy loading and I got 6 six 2 3/4" shells in the tube so that's good but ejecting is wonky. I can't just keep cycling the bolt to eject everything I have to hit the bolt release each time to move a round. Did I mess something up? lol

Bolt release or do you mean the cartridge drop lever? If you mean the cartridge drop lever then nothing is wrong - if you unload by manually cycling your bolt, you will have to either depress your cartridge drop lever or pull your trigger each time you cycle your bolt. The best way to remove the rounds from the magazine is to depress your shell carrier, then push the front of the shell catch with a finger which will release a single round without having to cycle the bolt. I use my middle finger on front of the shell catch and thumb on the back of the extended bolt release to help - push both at the same time. I like this better because your dummy rounds should last longer by keeping them out of the chamber and getting the shell rims deformed by the extractor. I dedicate a dummy round for chambering.

If you keep the cartridge drop lever depressed while cycling the bolt repeatedly, you can empty the magazine quite quickly! :)
