I'm looking at getting into clays and wondering if this o/u would be a good entry level shotgun? , I like the compact design but im wondering how bad that would hamper it for clays..?
I was also looking for a good bush gun so this could be a 2in1 for me....
in the review below its states it as a everything shotgun , but i have my doubts..
Any suggestions would be great

Cheers

if you want a good gun for clays get a proper shotgun designed for that.

if you want a compact little bushgun, but want to shoot the odd clay, then get a shortie with interchangeable chokes.

Nice little shotgun; I just bought one :)

With its interchangeable chokes, you will be able to fine-tune your patterns for different ranges (typically IC to M for clays, and M to F for trap).

What may affect its effectiveness is the lack of weight of its barrels (which affect consistency of swing and follow-through). I'll try mine soon for skeet shooting, and publish a range report.
If it doesn't swing right, I'll try attaching barrel weights, such as these:

I don't know if the Trap clubs will accept short-barrelled shotguns. They may be louder than those with longer barrels, and may perturb other shooters (although ported barrels are accepted, and they're louder for anyone standing beside them...)

Enjoy your Outback. Keep us posted on your results.
