I had sent my P-350 into the manufacturer for warr. work, they decided to replace the firing pin as part of the work they did. I got the gun back a few days ago, hadn't fired a shot through it since I got it back and today was out to shoot a charity trap shoot, second on up and click, click....fuuuuuck what now. Looked at the shells, no dents on the primer....disassembled and everything looked good. Tried another and nothing, had to shoot the day on my spare gun....so........

Any P-350 owners, please measure your firing pin and post here when you get a sec, I have a funny feeling the clown company gunsmith replaced the firing pin with the wrong one?!?!?

Thanks,

Here is the bolt group before disassembly.

Here is the firing pin laying on top for reference, the bolt as you can see is
not in the 'locked' or battery position. Note how short it is.

Here is the firing pin laying on top with the bolt in the 'locked or battery'
position, that is, how it would be when a round is chambered. Note that with the end of the firing pin near where it would be, the tip is no where near the bolt face.

With my pinkie holding the rear of the firing pin where the hammer would push it forward, well inertia would carry it a bit more forward...

You will notice that the firing pin is no where near the bolt face. Matter of
fact if you could see it, it is almost a 1/4" inside...Note bolt is in locked or battery position, against carrier.

When I push the firing pin in as far as I can using a pen, keeping the bolt in
"locked or battery" position...

You can now see the firing pin protrude barely breaking the plane of the bolt
face, not sure if even that would be enough to fire the primer. Even with the inertia of the firing pin, it physically cannot move any further forward.
