Im looking at buying either a Stoeger Uplander SxS in 20g or a CZ 20g SxS

I'm curious if there's a way to get the 12g barrels for the Stoeger? I noticed that they do have a 20/12g combo

The Stoeger is going to be a pound or more heavier than the CZ.
Also the Stoeger has 2.5" of drop at the heel vs. 2.25" for the CZ.

.25" might not seem like a lot, but it is for me.
I had a CZ 28ga with the 2.25" drop and I had to smash my face into the stock to get it to line up.
It just did not fit and therefore was not practical for me to keep.

My CZ was a little rough around the edges, but still a nicer gun than the Stoeger.

I use a Stoeger Uplander .410 for grouse.
Not pretty, not light, but it fits me well so I hit well with it.

The CZ was a learning experience.
I now know that I need at least 2.5" of drop at the heel.
Unfortuanetly, most of the smaller gauge doubles have less drop.

I use Stoeger Uplander 20ga for few years. I used it with all kinds of loads from light, steel through rifled slugs. It is an exelent shootgun, only drawback it is bit on the heavy side. Keep in mind that Stoegers are made in Brazil while CZ are not made in Czech Rep but in Turkey.
