Unless your barrel is rifled then you can't shoot them "properly" They may fire and come out the muzzle, but you will get no range or accuracy as the slug will most likely "keyhole" due to no rifleing. Buy "Riffled Slugs"

thanks...long range is not an issue......how would rifled slugs group at 25 yards in a non rifled barrel?...larry
In a short SXS shotgun.... you would be fortunate to shoot those slugs into a one foot circle at 25 yards. Get some rifled slugs!

In a smoots bore barrel, the slug you call "rifle slud" has wings thats makes it spin (like a rifle). A rifle barrel would use sabot slugs where the slug is smooth but incase in a plastic sabot witch will use the friction of the barrel to spin.

Rifled slugs are for a smooth barreled gun.
Sabot slugs are for a rifled barreled gun.
You cannot get rifled barrels for a Stoeger SXS... therefore in order to shoot accurately you need to get rifled slugs.... not sabots.
