Wondering if these shotgun are decent semi-auto or not.Are they made by Benelli or Berretta? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Looking at a 12ga 3" camo model.

They are made in Turkey by a company called Vursan.

They are imported and sold here by Stoeger Industries (which is a subsidiary of Beretta).

The action of this autoloader is based on Benelli's inertia operated system, with cheaper parts and without Benelli's recoil reducing features.

Mine has been great. However, the inertia system does not reduce recoil like a gas-operated system. The Stoegers do kick quite a bit for a semi, and they are light. I put a Limbsaver on mine, and it made a huge difference. It does stay a lot cleaner than a gas-operated gun. Mine can with the 2 barrels, but I bought it before they started coming with a rifled barrel as the second one. The smoothbore with rifle sights is a bit useless for me.

All in all, it works good and the price was right!!

I got mine from williams arms in Port Perry. It is in max 4 camo It came with 3 barrels and like six chokes I think. Price was about $850.00 plus taxes. Hard to beat at that price.

i have the uplander (sXs) model, handle very well, pretty light, served me very well for waterfowl and upland. perfect for instinct shooting. One of my firing pin broke this year but was still on the warranty, I shipped the gun, they repaired it for free and they were pretty fast . Very satisfied overall. I got the 2 trigger extractor version.
