Hello folks,

Looking at buying a semi shotgun,

So..who has a Stoger Model 2000 or has tried one, and how do you like it?

A new one is pretty reasonably priced and it feels really lightweight.. good for wandering around hunting upland for hours.

Anyone have this? if so let me know how you like it.

Cheers!

I have a few friends that have them, with only one having a problem. He bought it a week before ducks, and it wouldn't eject. The dealer switched him for a new one. He has had it for three years now with no problem.

Haven't seen a reviewer yet that sounded like he'd buy another.

I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Great shooter, feeds reliably with any ammo I have tried, reasonably priced, one of the easiest guns to take apart for cleaning, lightweight, decent trigger, etc...
The list goes on and on IMHO.

Note: This is just my opinion. Opinions are like a**holes. Everybody has one and most of them stink.

Had one and after 2 years of issues with choke tubes getting stuck stuck in it, they took it back and refunded me the purchase price. The first barrel had to have the choke machined out and the second barrel went back to them with the choke stuck in it after only 6 rounds.

Took the refund and bought a Nova pump and just love it.

luv it

I've had one for 3 years now.The first choke I used in it is still in it....stuck.I don't care though and I just use it the way it is.Some day i'll deal with it but for now i'll just keep feeding it any load or slug and know that it will keep shooting problem free.I luv this gun and will never part with it.The only thing that pisses me off is the lack of aftermarket accessories available for it.If anyone knows of a supplier let me know.On a side note though I have heard that the company is the sh#$s to deal with if you do have probs.

I needed a new recoil spring for mine. Called them to see if I could buy from them. Had it in my hand, free of charge in 3 (or 4 can't remember) days.

This is what happened to someone's Stoeger while shooting
