KAC - Knight's Armament Company. they own the rights to the Stoner rifle. In terms of getting one, you will have to find an owner up here who may have imported one many years ago. Other wise you will have to find an owner in the US who is will to go through the export process. Retail during peacetime is about 2500-3000 USD and right now if you find an owner willing to part with one you are likely looking at 4-10000 USD depending on the model.

if you wait 3 years KAC may be able to sell to the civilian market again (not likely though - more like 5 -7 years).

KAC is the company that manufactures the SR-25 rifles. Armalite has something similar known as AR-10. Both chambers the 7.62 NATO. KAC is a major US military contractor and is probably very busy filling military contracts, that's why anything they can put out for the civilian market is in high demand.
