hi guys, looking for an opinion on Stoney Point Target Knobs? are they good/bad? Or just send the scope to Okotoks for target knob installation?

thanks
regards
K

The Stoney Point target knobs are now discontinued along with the original company that was parted out to Bushnell and Hornady. The knobs that still may be available only fit a limited number of scopes and as manufacturers changed models and thread size and pitch for thier adjustment covers it made keeping the knobs current a difficult experience. If you find and old one that fits your scope and install it correctly, they worked prety good and I had no complaints when I used and sold them. If you have a Leupold scope then you are in luck as Korth does exceptional work in a very short time frame. Phil.

Have had a set on my Leopold EFR compact 3x9 for probably going on ten years, they worked great at first, but the only thing is the detent screw tends to wear after a decade, haha! If you have Leopold, just send it to Korth for target knobs save yourself the hassle, Dale Z!

thanks guys,

I have a 20 years old Leupold Vari-X IIc, 4-12x42AO......not sure if Korth can install turrets on such an old scope....

BTW: what part number of the Stoney Point will fit the Vari-X IIc scope?
