Stoopid Question (Bump Fire)

That was my thought.. Its deffinitly a grey zone kind of thing but it doesn't make the gun automatic by definition. Some one will have to pull out the huge book of "you cant do, you cant have" and see what kind of law it may break. Id definitly cross the boarder and bring one home if there was a loop hole for these bad oscars.
 
Good luck! That is a puppy killing, baby eating evil device. Or it's just an inanimate object like all other firearms and accessories, and not one is worse than another, but we still can't be trusted with them. I'm not sure which it is.
 
I think regardless, if cop saw you shooting that thing I doubt they'd give you a chance to explain how it works before you're arrested. And would this even work with a rimfire? Maybe worth asking the people in the black rifles forum. They might know more about it.

Yea i dont know if it would work with a .22, but who knows if you could get the trigger pull down to around 2.5 - 3 lb and a light stock it might. Im not worried about getting arrested, hell they can arrest you for having an xcr then realise its not illegal and let you go. Its not worth it for a .223, bump firing 5 rounds is silly, 30 or 50 on the other becomes worth while, thats why rimfire is the way to go.
 
Won't work on rimfire, not enough recoil.
Rcmp would likely consider it a device like the hellfire etc.....
You can accomplish the same thing with a 5 cent rubber band.
