Stop the Liberal Hunting Rifle Ban Raquel Dancho

Focussing on "hunting" rifles is a distraction. It's just more divide/conquer. If the Liberals relent, and back off on the "hunting rifle" ban, then they can say they've compromised and suddenly it's ok to ban the so-called "military grade" rifles and handguns.

In fact, there's no reason why black rifles and handguns cannot be used as legitimate hunting tools, as they regularly are south of the border. Handguns were once legitimate hunting arms in Canada, but we've been slowly brainwashed into thinking this was never the case.

Thank you. This is a sensible approach.

Exactly this!!

This might be a strategy to reach the non-gun owning Canadians, but we should not forget about the sport shooters.

What I don't want to see is a situation, in which some FUDD rifles get "graciously" removed from the list by the Liberals, so this amendment can be passed.

Let's not paint ourselves into a corner here, as we already have by not pushing self-defense from human predators as a legitimate reason to own a firearm.

Quite so. They can un-ban one elephant gun, and say they have listened to hunters. Next year, who needs an "anti-tank rifle" to hunt rabbits?
