I own my office building. Can I store my restricted firearms in my office? I have a safe room and will get a gun safe for the room.

thanks!

ls this your place of residence or just your work place.
What address do you have on your restricted paper work, should tell you where you have to store them.

You have to store restricted firearms where you told the government you have 'em. Your residence, etc. Changing it means sending 'em a change of address form. Not likely to be a big deal. You can do it on-line.
You may not want to do this though. Means you can't play with 'em at home.

This is not a change of address, If you are not living there it is not your address. Do not change your address and think you are good to go, that opens you up to some possible charges under the firearms act. It is possible to have more than one residence on file with the CFC and store restricted at either or both locations, there are members that have done it. But since your office is not your residence they are most likely not going to approve it. Your best option is going to be phone your CFO and explain what you want to do and why and they will tell you if you can.
