Storage of Firearms?

Can you store handguns (or even rifles) anywhere besides on your personal residence? I'm specifically referring to, for example, keeping a pistol at the gun range or shooting club.

Is this possible? Not allowed? etc...

no not for handguns

the best you can do is "loan" them to somebody else who has a pal and they can store them at their house.

Yes you can... but

What I am currently doing
- Firearms are registered to me and I used to live with my sister,
- Moved onto Campus and not allowed to store firearms in Residence
- As long as I have the firearms stored in a safe and they do NOT have access to the safe then it is legal.

1. They must be locked in a safe
2. The resident must not have access to the safe
3. The firearms must be registered as at that location.
4. Your ATT must list this location

Had to do some research to find the part of the gun act that described this, but it is possible.

The gun Club must allow it as for the law you must inform Cheif Inspector of where they are store and your ATT must reflect it.

sounds like all you did was move away from home and didn't change the address on your pal. this is illegal after 30 days. same as your drivers licence.

No I think he did not move the firearms he just kept them at his sister's under lock and key.
