So, my revolver is trigger locked and inside a small gun cabinet/safe like:

I formerly had a big one that contained my rifles too, but during a move it fell off the back of my truck. Without my rifles in it, thankfully.

So I'm borrowing that safe for my revolver in the meantime.

Now, here is the question:

Is it legal like that until I get a full size lockable cabinet again, or do I have to secure that to the wall/floor, etc?

As long as it is "hard to break into" you're good. Being that its so small I would recommend bolting it down. A safe that size is easily carried away

I currently store my GP100 trigger locked, in a locking pistol case, which is kept inside a locked closet. In my interpretation of:

Attach a secure locking device so the firearms cannot be fired and lock them in a cabinet, container or room that is difficult to break into...

I'd like to think I'm good to go, but someone feel free to correct me (but don't tell the RCMP if I'm wrong), I am a noob.
