Storing Bullet Lube ?

what kind of bullet lube? i made up 2 batches of ben's red and store them in zip loc bags, however i only made them 5 months ago.

I wouldn't bother unless it was during a heat wave and my house was stinking (and I mean really stinking) hot. It won't come to any harm but you'll want to let it warm back up to room temperature before you start lubing bulelts with it.

Its SPG and it gets pretty soft in warm weather.
Fear not BUM, I could always hold it in my hand and warm it up before use.
Actually I would like to find or make a similar substitute for SPG, I'm down to my last 5 sticks...

I thought SPG was a 50-50 mix of Beeswax and Vasaline? I could be wrong, you should be able to check it out on google. I've made lots of different lubes in the past, most work very well. The only thing I didn't like about the SPG was it was very soft and seemed to run everywhere, but it did work. One of the best lubes I've used was a mix of Beeswax and enough ATF (auto trans fluid) to make it quite firm. ATF has a lot of qualities needed for a lube and the wax makes it as hard or soft as you'd like. If you don't like the smell of ATF I've also used STP-Beeswax and that eliminates the odor problem. Matter of fact it only seems to have the honey smell of the Beeswax. It applies easily by hand and like I said, make it as soft-hard as you'd like. I use any small metal container (tin of beans if you'd like), melt the wax over a LOW heat (outdoors!!!!!!) then add the STP, let cool completely and adjust for hardness. One of our sponsors (DRAGON BULLET LUBE) is a great guy to deal with. I bought some Alox Liquid lube from him and he sent some free samples of other product he carries. Good prices, easy shipping, very nice to deal with AND he's a sponsor!!!! Best of luck.
