I own a Glock 35 Gen 4. I read on different forums that it's not possible to shoot reloads with the factory barrel. I don't reload right now but I eventually will. So, with that in mind, last January I purchased a Storm Lake barrel for my G35 Gen 4 from Questar. The guys at Questar unfortunately can't give me a date for delivery and I understand why.

I was just wondering if any of you CGN members did purchase a Storm Lake barrel from Questar and how long did it take you to receive it. It will give me an estimate on how long I will have to wait for mine.

Best regards to you all.

I did a few years back but I don't know exactly how long it took to come in. I don't remember delivery being a problem and I would have if it was. On a side note, I have since talked with many more Glock shooters that do shoot lead through their factory (polygonal rifling) barrel without any problems, just don't push them too fast and you'll be fine. Your call.

I shoot both FMJ/TMJ reloads as well as hard cast reloads out of my G17rtf2. Never a problem with leading or any other items. Just shoot the darned thing, it is a tool to be used and if I end up needing a new barrel (which I WILL sooner or later anyway) I will get one. No big deal. My G17 runs VERY accurate with the cast reloads and I am happier with those than the jacketed bullets. Go figure. lol
