anyone on here have one? how long did you wait for it to come in? ive been waiting close to 7 months now and i'm starting to get a touch annoyed. does it usually take this long to get here?

Did you order via Questar? I got one a little while ago via IRunguns.ca...it took a little over 3 months.

It's a nice barrel...great fit and finish. The tricky part is finding 9mm M&P mags [try Al Flaherty...]

yes i made the order through questar. to be honest the snails pace of this order is irritating to say the least. but im glad to hear the barrel is worth the money.

You can always buy the one from CTCS and sell the one you ordered when it comes in from Questar. I pretty sure that you won't have any problems selling it on the EE.

That is actually a pretty solid idea and I may do it since I'm so fed up at this point. Problem is I'll definitely be out cash. I ended up paying in total $289 for my barrel that hasn't come it yet from questar. It's almost a full $100 more that CTCS is offering. i guess its a hard lesson learned that my wallet is gonna have to feel. I've never had issues with Questar up until this point.
 
Tell me about it, it's not cheap to import anything into Canada. It's not Questar, more likely SL is backordered like crazy on these barrels.

i think im going to order that 9mm barrel.
i know its a very controversial subject, but have you tried the .40 mags in it with 9mm?

i managed to the talon grips direct from their website, no one seemes to sell them in canada or want to ship them here... seriously, its just sandpaper...it cant be itar controlled...

CTCS has this barrel in stock in Vancouver and did you know that Talon Gun Grips ships to Canada now? They list $.99 shipping cost to Canada.

almost certain they are. but i feel like i got ripped when i've had to wait 7 months and overpaid by a 100 bones when i can get it now from CTCS. in all likelihood i'm gonna order it off of CTCS and sell my barrel when it comes from questar. at this rate probably next spring.

Dunno if it's controversial, but no, I didn't actually try my .40 cal mags with the 9mm. I was assured by a number of people on the mp-pistol.com forum that it wouldn't work out, so I went shopping for mags and got them shortly before the barrel arrived. Perhaps I'll give them a try just for grins on my next range outing...

i've been warned by a few people as well that it wouldn't work. i spent some cash and picked up 9mm mags for it. just made my order to CTCS for my 9mm barrel. guess i'll be putting my extra one up on the EE whenever it arrives.

i wouldnt min having one but i dont really need it.
