good advice. I come from the world of hot rodding cars, and there is SO MUCH CRAP out there that doesn't do anything good for your car, and some of it will make your car slower and crappier.

Plus its a pain to field strip 1911 with full length guide rod. Doesn't nothing for accuracy.

Racing cars and motorcycles is full of that as well. Lots of folks would be better off buying more gas and practice than the stuff they buy to put on the vehicle. And bicycle competitions are even worse for this. Although in that case the "fuel" you buy is more seat time and vitamins for the rider.
