Had a bad die that sized the case necks off centre, tryed to resize case neck again with a collet die ,helped a bit but case necks are visibly crooked .Any ideas? These are fire formed AI cases and I would like to salvage them if posible.Since finding out that AI die I had was defective I have been using the parent calibur collet die and it works great.

Are they straightened when fired after being neck sized? A .22-250AI is pretty hot - shame to waste barrel life trying to salvage cases. You might need a concentricity tool to check. Resizing in a different FL die might correct them. You are going to need a replacement die anyway, why not wait until it is on hand before pitching them? How many cases are involved?
This is interesting.
I have just neck sized some previously FL sized norma brass with my new collet dies. I found that there was a little transverse tension on the neck when the brass entered and left the die, almost as if it was off center in the shell holder.
As expected, rounds subsequently loaded in this brass showed poor concentricity at .005 to .010
Now I have also some brass from the same batch that was previously FL sized in the same die, then fireformed and when I run it through the same collet die and load it I get very nice results, .002 to .003, and no snagging symptoms as described. ie, it tracks perfectly into the collet die every time.
So my question is, if my old FL die was FUBAR and messing up the concentricity of my brass, can I expect this brass to settle in after I fireform it or should I toss the works and start with new stuff?
