Hey all, can anyone help identify the caliber/type of ammo that has the following markings.

Rg 53 L rimmed (about the size of 303)
And
ll T 2 82 T rimless (about the size of 308)

Thanks

Yup, you have a 7.5x55 Swiss round (TT) from Thun, and a British .303 Ball Mk.7 round, made at Radway Green.

I wonder if those 1953 Radway Green rounds are any more reliable than the 1943 ones I bought at a gun show. 9 in 10 had dud primers so I ended up pulling most of the bullets and now have a cup of real cordite as a conversation piece. I guess it's far for the course for wartime production.

More likely due to poor storage than wartime production I would think.

Weatherdog, if you live in the frozen north, they won't le you have a full auto;)

However being in the desert (Arizona) I have a Vickers, Bren, Lewis, and STEN, and they all work:d
