Why not, was a pretty common gun and still is to a lesser degree up here. You laugh your ass off at others yet are afraid of the bush with a 3030 in hand

Not afraid, just no point to carry around a dates cartridge.

Everyone could also carry around a Mosin, do they? I have never met a single person that hunted grizzly bear with a 30 30, know any?

I’ve seen them shot with 30-30s, it works. They don’t give a #### when the cartridge was made. Lots of guys here in northern bc deer and moose hunting with them, You live around them you realize they aren’t behind every tree waiting to maul you and 99/100 times your catching a view of their ass disappearing into the bush. I carry a larger cal. But it isn’t because I’m afraid of grizzlies. #### you have little old lady’s walking blueberry patches with sweet#### all, I guess I should let them know the should be packing a 50cal+
