Strange scopes on american M24?

Was wathcing Top Sniper on military chanel and I saw snipers usinng strange looking scopes on american bolt action remington which I beleive is M24. Scope looks like a camera with the step to it like in porro spoting scopes.
So anyone knows anything about it? Who makes it and a link would be appreciated.

Perhaps, and this is a guess only, this was a 'normal' daytime veiwing scope with the Simrad night veiwer attached on top of, and covering the front glass of the sniperscope.

This is so that snipers do not have to rezero thier scopes before a night-time operation.
Night observation device is more easily installed at dusk and removed in the early dawn hours. I say the Simrad brand name, ( there may be others now) because this was the earliest NATO issued, quick attach/detachable N.O.D. made this way, and commonly used by western countries, IIRC.
