strange type 56 SKS

Hey,

I just picked up a chinese SKS from a local guy and am a bit confused about its origins..It appears to be a proper numbers matching military type 56...no force matched parts or electro pencil....but it has norinco stamped on the receiver and also import markings...The magazine was also not pinned by the importer but was bubba pinned as shown in the pics. Its factory 26 with the chinese characters...and all milled trigger gaurd....Im wondering if this SKS might have been imported to the US then ended up here...Any thoughts? Anyone have an SKS with these import marks?

it could have been in the usa or been in a batch destined for the usa before they banned the import of chinese arms. later on it was probably sold to canada with the marks still on it.

Im thinking the same thing...but imported into Canada before the 5 round magazine limit...has anyone seen an sks mag pinned this way before?
