From what I hear and I could be wrong. It is restricted if it has a magazine. Vise Versa. Now this is what Ive been told dont know for sure.

Your wrong. There are several .50 BMG rifles that are non-restricted with magazines.... only a few are prohib. by OIC.

The few that are restricted are deemed restricted simply by mis informed political elements making them so,
There are some mag few 50s that are non restricted.
The AMSD Nemesis rifles that we sell being 1 and the Accurcy Int AW50 being another example, there may be others as well.
