Strike Industries Phantom latchless charging handle - CRACKED AT 300 ROUNDS OR LESS

This is something fun! I purchased this Strike Industries at the beginning of September from
RDSC and it has cracked where the detent spring exits the right side. 7075 aluminium but I have a feeling that its just too thin. I have contacted the merchant and am inquiring into whether I have any recourse.

I do not recommend this product for your AR builds or otherwise.

What gas system and barrel length were you running it on. SI says not to use them on anything less than a 14.5" barrel which i'm assuming means run it on a carbine length gas system or longer?

18.6" Maple Ridge barrel, with rifle length gas system.

My friends muzzle brake Frome Strike blew apart. Had about 5k rounds through it.

RDSC got back to me. I re-sent them the photos. Lets see what they say. This product is garbage.
