Hey guys and gals,

Something I never saw before (and the search function here didn't bring up anything) was the Arsenal Strike Pistol System.

It's a polymer/striker system with an interesting high bore axis that I sure wouldn't mind trying. Anyone on here seen one/tried one? Has this been discussed here before and I poo poooed the search parameters??
 
the rear sight being integrated into the back plate on the slide is stupid and means you can't change the sights to what works best for you. I'll never own one

And here are the pics of the "Second Gen" aka "Speed" model. Notice the dove tailed sights for the next generations and further mill work to the slide to lighten it further.

The new pistols come with IPSC production legal barrel lengths at 127 mm, while some of the next shipment Interammo is getting in will be with original 128 mm. All Strike One pistols after this shipment will come with 127mm barrels.

Now available in black, titanium, bronze, and gold finishes... Although I'm not sure what Interammo is getting for colors or calibres.

my only problem with these pistols is the price. yes they are nice, but they are still mass produced polymer pistols. And the mags are expensive too.
 
I didn't feel it tracked any better than my Shadow, the sights sucked balls though, in a huge way and the trigger was mushy as ####.
 
Nothing wrong with the sights on the general purpose gun. For the competition there is the Strike One Speed model ;) The non-fluted slide with the sights in a dovetail slot also exists.

For the OP: I have one, it`s my favorite pistol! Only snag, the take down pin is tricky sometimes if you are not careful when disassembly or assembly.

Question about the GEN 2 sights, any way to get a GEN 1 retro-fitted with that rear sight?
 
Are the gen2's at the same price point ?

Been looking at these ever since I bought my Makarov and I got an insert on it.
