Stripper clips fpr FN 49

I recently got an FN49 in 30-06 and was wondering what type of stripper clip it would use. Anyone know?

Try any Mauser stripper clip, if they do not work then a nato stripper.

The Mauser stripper clips are too small and are not held by the charger guide on my 7x57 FN49.

There were 3 different clips for the 7, 7.65 and 7.9 ammo ,two bumps 7mm, no bumps 7.65 and three bumps on sides 7.9.

"3 bump" Mauser chargers do not work in the 8mm SAFN unless you grind the two end ones off. Otherwise you can't insert them in far enough.

Stripper Clips

I think I have some excess that work, I will dig them out and check. They are for 8mm mauser, I have some nato 7.62 kicking around too. If they are good I will pop you a pm.
