Bought a couple packs for my sks for ammo hauling convenienve alone, but cant for the life of me get more than 2 rounds to feed before they jam up like hwy1 in surrey. Tried my stock mag and a tapco notched out for the clips, tried bending the spring on the clips... still fubar.
Did I get a set of shiiite clips or are they always useless?

I assume you are inserting the stripper clip into the notch on the bolt carrier and then pressing the ammunition down into the magazine with the bolt carrier cocked and locked open?

U would assume correct. Tried the top bullet tilt and push technique and still nuthin. The clips seem to have alot of play in the carrier.

Hmm...this is odd. Just checked mine and there doesn't seem to be the same issue occurring in an SKS or a VZ with a partial or full clip.
You are pushing from the rim with your thumb and the magazine(s) can be loaded round after round by hand?

I give them a quick karate chop on the top round followed by steady pressure down with the edge of my open hand and it works great on my SKS.

The third round jumps too fat forward or back when feeding and wedges itself in an akward tight position, already skinned my thumb good these things are pissin me off gonna try this " karate chop" technique. If that doesnt work they're getting the " chuck out the damn window" technique.

Well actually got one to work, bent the spring till it about snapped off and left a crazy 1/2" bend.Just dinished xutting them all in half for 5 rounders now to test them all.

Weird, never had one that didn't work great. But they were straight from the crate with ammo pre loaded. Mosin/SVT clips on the other hand...

Jeebus, Mosin/SVT clips are a pain and I have only had them work in the SVT. Those are a great way to slice up your fingers and hands...

Any chance you could upload a picture of the stripper clips or perhaps a video of how they improperly feed?
I am fairly curious as to why they aren't working for you.

Bought a bunch of SKS stripper clips off a fellow CGNer and so far no problem with them. Makes loading and shooting much more pleasant! Maybe some picture showing exactly whats the problem like SparkOfLight said?

That's what I'm talking about. The clips for my SKSs have always been easy and flawless. Unlike many, I keep them for future use when they will undoubtedly get scarce.

Not the amazon black ones nc star crap. They look like surplus used from an old czech case, from a local shop

If those are the Czech surplus stripper clips, there should be no issues with them. What kind of ammo are you putting in these clips? Could the rims be a bit too thick for the clips?

I've had zero problems using or re-using stripper clips from the Czech surplus ammo in any of the 3 SKS' I've owned.
