I bought a Blackhawk 357 with a carbon ring from shooting 38’s. Being a black powder shooter I am use to cleaning carbon deposits. Why not try my regular cleaner. Butch’s black powder bore shine. Let it soak for maybe 5 minutes and used a brush on each cylinder and out it came. Easier than I thought it would be.
