Stubby Magpul MVG "Canadianized"....

So while in the man cave practicing dry fires and draws I decided to do a little stippling on some gear. Before getting to my MVG I looked over at my hockey gear stowed away for the summer and thought about a little "Canadianized" mod for my MVG. I was going to stipple it after cutting it down, but thought I'd give this a go...

Maybe it was the Scotch or my cheap Scottish roots, but I'll give it a go at the range later. Good ol' hockey tape, right up there with the grey stuff.

Looks good...different, but definitely "cool." Try a wrist shot and see if you could pick off the top corner with it!!!

I find it gives you more real estate to hold on to. For anyone with big mitts this simple mod might give you more to grip.... Just a thought.
