So Benelli Nova camo finish stuck choke tube. Sprayed liquid wrench let is soak for 3 days it won't budge. I put some heat ( heat gun ) to it still nothing. I am afraid to put too much heat and ruin the finish. Any suggestions? Not my gun.

Plug the end of the bawrill and drop some jewcy lewb from the chamber side to fill up over the choke?
Then put the heat to it so the bawrill will expand and the lube will sneak into the threads.

I once put my shotgun barrel down in a container of kroil for a week, then used a strap wrench with the barrel in a padded vice to get the choke tube out. Worked, but unfortunately I did marr the barrel finish a bit.

YMMV.

I got one out for a friend year ago. I chucked the chamber end in my lathe and put the tool in the tailstock to keep it in firm contact with the choke tube and with some sweating and swearing got it out. This was after soaking it in penetrating oil over night. I then put some anti seize on the cleaned up tube and told him to take the darned thing out and lubricate every time he cleaned his barrel.

When I had a stuck choke I stood it up in a jar of home made penetrant... diesel/atf mix I want to say?... and then after a week I clamped my choke wrench to my bench and used two hands on the barrel to twist it free.

Didn't hurt my blued barrel but no idea what it might do to your finish.

I had that job to do on a O & U with both jammed tight. I did the following ;
1 - placed muzzel ( chokes) upside down into a containor of penn. oil for a WEEK.
2 - Tapped all around the tubes with a plastick mallet on a peice of wood.
3 - redid #1
4 - redid # 2
5 - woreout two choke tools trying to undoe.
6 - heated tubes with propain torch till almost RED.
7 - redid # 1 & 2

With this I was able to remove 1 only. Always clean threads & add antizeese regularly.

After each season I remove choke tubes and oil up the threads

After I had the one stuck I went to Lordco for anti seize, bought a stick of it. Haven't had an issue since. I'm sure I overpaid for the amount I got vs buying a jar but it's so handy and not nearly as messy as a more liquid product.

I have had a few that once out, the choke although undamaged visually, obviously had the threads stretched or bulged, as they were tight going back in, while a new choke threaded in nicely.

So be prepared to throw the choke away even if it comes out.
