stupid noob question but....

Im trying to find a replacement 4 round mag for my savage axis 30-06 and I see you list axis mags but it doesnt say anything about 30-06. is it the same mag as the 308? thanx!

Although the Savage Axis receivers are all the same length, the magazines for .30-06 and .308 are different, from my understanding.

I have no first hand experience with this, but according to Cabelas they are different mags.

There are no stupid questions! 308 are short action. Compatible ones would be .270, 25-06, etc.
