I hope someone out there has an answer to a question I haven't been able to find an answer to. My buds and I want to add some 3-gun to our shooting games out in the bush. Obviously regular firearm handguns are a big no-no but I can't find anything either allowing or prohibiting use of an air pistol (sub 500 fps) for such a purpose. Can anyone chime in whether or not this is a yay or a nay?

Thanks in advance :)

:) yeah that was my thinking too but thought it might not be a bad thing to check here just to be sure.

Thanks for the input!

Adding transition to pistol will be fun even if it isn't the real deal

Be careful though and check with the bylaws of where you are going to be shooting. Discharging any pellet guns, paintball and such is normally prohibited through bylaws... being out in the bush is probably going to make it ok, but just be aware of the local rules.

Might not apply in B.C., but check the hunting regs too. However, as a sub 500 FPS air gun isn't a firearm the only law that might apply would be discharge by-laws, trespass and the hunting regs.
Save you a lot of mucking about to just use paint ball toy guns. A lot of air powered handguns look like real firearms.
